Models and integrations

The platform does not depend on one provider: the model is chosen per task and switches to a fallback if the main one is unavailable.

FAQ

How is the platform different from public chatbots?+

A public chatbot keeps no company context and is not connected to its systems. Role AI knows the department's rules, works with company systems within permissions and maintains a shared knowledge base that stays in the company.

How is the existing knowledge base used?+

We import it into the platform along with employees' own work, including their 1C and Bitrix24 integrations. It becomes the agents' starting point, not one more base alongside.

How is access to restricted data prevented?+

No. Restrictions are applied in the integrations before data reaches the model, so the model never receives what the role may not see, however the question is phrased.

Which message sources are connected?+

Only work chats and mailboxes defined by company policy. Sources, retention rules and employee consent are agreed during design. Personal messages are out of scope.

What happens if a model becomes unavailable?+

The model gateway switches to a fallback. The default model is open and can run inside a controlled perimeter.

Where is the data stored?+

The wiki, role AI profiles, history and logs are stored inside the company perimeter or in a dedicated cloud in Russia.
